2018 World Whisky Awards

2018 has seen a fair change in the guard in relation to whisky, this year's awards have been dominated by the Japanese whiskies with them being award 3 out of the 13 World Whisky aa3ward winners and the only multiple winners this year.
2018 has produced a strong global showing at the World Whisky awards. This year’s awards have been successful for the Japanese whisky industry taking home 3 of the 14 awards, however, the 14th category had only one entrant so we won’t include this award. The traditional American Whiskey’s/Bourbon’s where all USA based except for best grain whisky that went to South Africa. The United Kingdom won the best-blended scotch, Canada the best Canadian whisky and Australia the best single cask single malt category.
